The new CAD USB Control design resulted from our research and development of the CAD Ground Controls, 1543 MKII DAC and the many USB cables we have produced over the last 10 years.
In our experience, reducing unwanted high frequency noise in audio systems significantly improves sound quality.
The frequency of noise varies in every audio system and in each domestic environment – even the time of day on mains power. The USB Control reduces this unwanted high frequency noise across an extremely broad frequency spectrum, from KHz up into the GHz range.

The connected-fidelity™ “RF Blocker” is a simple to fit radio frequency (RF) filter array. It is supplied in pairs and there are three connection options – banana and spade terminals, or bare wires. They simply fit across the loudspeaker + and - input terminals (or amplifier loudspeaker outputs).

When you listen to music there’s a lot of background noise going on, coming in from the mains. Some noise cannot be missed but there’s also some that is not immediately obvious until it has gone. Made in our workshops in the heart of Yorkshire to exacting standards the MCRU Ultimate Grounding Cable is made from audiophile quality parts from Furutech of Japan, all cryo treated as standard using a patented process.
Terminations are as follows and can be supplied same at both ends or mixed, for example zplug (banana) one end and spade the other end.

All connectors are made by Furutech and are gold plated.
To prevent RFI pick up the cable is screened and shielded using carbon infused polyester braiding.

This new grounding box is now available from MCRU. This unit has 3 separate chambers to effectively ground your equipment in addition to any other grounding you may use. It is particularly effective with noisy equipment such as music servers, streamers and DAC's. Simply attach the end of the cable to a spare input on your equipment or a grounding post if available. Supplied with 3 grounding cables made from japanese quality cable terminated with either USB, RCA, Spade, Mini Spade, Banana Plug. Each cable is 1.5 metres long, longer cables can be supplied for additional charge.

MCRU Optimus Grounding Box
As audiophiles of all types have begun to notice, grounding your equipment with a separate purpose built device brings instant sonic improvements.
The MCRU grounding device simply plugs into a spare socket on your equipment or into the mains wall socket with our UK plug version.
The device is supplied with a variety of end terminations to suit your chosen equipment.
There is nothing we know of that will not benefit from a separate grounding box.
The device has been tested on a variety of equipment including streamers, DAC's, phono stages, amplifiers and music servers.
