The Onkyo P-80 Network Preamplifier is designed for discerning listeners building a flexible, room-tuned system with separate power amplification. At the core, Onkyo's DIDRC circuitry and high-resolution DAC work to reduce high-frequency noise, so streamed and digital sources come across with a more relaxed, analogue-like character. A dedicated MM/MC phono stage with a discrete MC circuit means low-output cartridges are amplified cleanly before they reach your power amp. Dirac Live room correction and the Fidelity IQ auto loudness function then adapt the response to your room and listening level, helping you keep a balanced, involving sound whether you're listening quietly or at higher volumes. With RCA and balanced XLR pre-outs, two subwoofer outputs, HDMI ARC, digital inputs, and network streaming from services like Spotify, TIDAL, and more via the Onkyo Controller app, the P-80 slots naturally at the centre of a modern 2.2-channel system while still supporting classic hi-fi sources.
