The sound source used for mastering is original digital master. Mastering uses JVC 24bit / 176.4kHz AD and digital k2. Converted directly at the manufacturing plant and finally K2 laser cutting.

Recorded in August 1973 ā the tour for Foxtrot (1972) having ended in May of that year ā Genesisā members joined for a short time to write new material which covered a number of themes, including the loss of English folk culture and an increased American influence. Hence the inspiration for the title Selling England by the Pound.
Several tracks from the album became fan favorites and were featured as a regular part of the bandās live setlist well into the 1980s. āI Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe),ā was released in February 1974 and became the bandās first top 30 hit in the U.K. In 2012, the album ranked seventh in Rolling Stoneās āReadersā Poll: Your Favorite Prog Rock Albums of All Time.ā Selling England by the Pound reached No. 3 on the U.K. charts and No. 70 on the U.S. Billboard Pop Albums chart.

Roy Haynes was just about everywhere in the golden age of jazz, recording classic albums with some of the most legendary names of the genre: Miles, Coltrane, Monk, Bud Powell, Sarah Vaughan, Sonny Rollins, Eric Dolphy, Milt Jackson, McCoy Tyner and Jackie McLean. The hard-bop-verging-on-post-bop Out Of The Afternoon is an excellent example of the adventurous spirit that was taking flight in the jazz world in the early 1960s.
