Glanz S Series Tonearms
Glanz is an old Japanese name warmly welcomed back to the UK – this is the newly refreshed Glanz S Series tonearm, available in 9″, 10″ and 12″ versions.
Like all Glanz tonearms, constructed mainly from stainless steel parts with obsessive attention to resonance control, and now with an improved counterweight design.
This is, without exception, the finest tonearm that we have ever heard, and the physical quality is simply astonishing.
Effective mass is in the order of 30g, but Glanz do not quote a figure, so only suitable for genuinely low compliance cartridges (please call to discuss if you are unsure). Shipped with a Glanz MH-4S headshell and a tonearm cable..
Glanz B Series Tonearm
An old Japanese name but newly returned to the UK – This is the entry level ‘affordable’ Glanz B Series tonearm, available in 9″ and 10″ versions.
Like all Glanz tonearms, constructed mainly from stainless steel parts with astonishing build quality, and high effective mass (in the order of 30g, but Glanz do not quote a figure) to suit low compliance cartridges. Shipped with a quality tonearm cable.
Headshell is not included – any design with a ‘standard’ SME bayonet fitting is suitable.

The highest quality construction throughout When using an MM or MC cartridge, the cold side of the phono cable serves only as a ground. In the case of optical cartridges however the cold side is used to supply power from the equalizer to the cartridge. Therefore, in such an application, the cold side of the cable is just as important as the signal carrying hot line.
