MCRU No. 88 Mains Power Block
Made in the MCRU workshops in the heart of Yorkshire, the No. 88 block is part of our entry level range designed to offer exceptional value for money with top performance. Partnered with our No. 88 mains power lead this is a perfect up-grade from the basic cables usually provided with your equipment at purchase.
Available with either 3 or 6 sockets the No. 88 block uses shielded and screened cable to reject RFI and is fitted with a UK mains plug with a 13A silver plated fuse.
The internals of the block are treated with Caig de-oxit to remove surface contaminants and leave a microscopic film to prevent oxidation. We also treat the mains plug pins the same way.
The block is available with any length of cable attached starting at 1 metre. It can be wall mounted using the holes on the back panel.

MCRU No. 91 Fig.8 C7 Mains Power Lead
This is one of our top selling power leads, made using the excellent Belden 83803 cable which is shielded and screened with patented Beldfoil insulation. Technical datasheet here.
The 83803 uses 12 AWG (3.31 sq mm) conductors which can handle 20 amps per conductor and are especially suitable for power amps, mains conditioners and just about anything in your hifi system.
The No.91 is available with a variety of termination, this model has a MCRU copper Fig.8 connector fitted along with the standard MK toughplug fitted with a silver plated fuse.
MCRU bespoke internal non-intrusive filtering system included.
A truly outstanding power lead for modest cost. 0.7 metre long as standard longer lengths on request.

Furutech silver plated UK mains plug and matching IEC connector both cryo treated using a patented process, the cable is also silver plated with active earth shield to combat the effects of #RFI.. Finally no mains plug should be used without up-grading the internal fuse, the hifi tuning supreme3 is now included in the set.
