DS Audio PS-001 Phono Cable
Phono cable optimised for optical cartridges
The highest quality construction throughout When using an MM or MC cartridge, the cold side of the phono cable serves only as a ground. In the case of optical cartridges however the cold side is used to supply power from the equalizer to the cartridge. Therefore, in such an application, the cold side of the cable is just as important as the signal carrying hot line. The PH-001 features identical materials and construction on both the hot and cold sides ensuring that the power supply is kept stable.

Using in-house tools, performance variations during operation are minimized to within 1% (0.1dB), ensuring peak performance. Each channel is equipped with an inner tube for voltage amplification and an outer tube for output buffering, delivering a rich, transparent sound quality. Moreover, the amplifier employs straightforward two-stage amplification circuit paired with low-impedance cathode follower output stages to provide a pure and dynamic audio experience.
DS Audio Vinyl Ionizer
The ION-001 is a very high-power device, equipped with a total of 4 ionizers, 2 each for positive and negative ions. The ION-001 utilizes a specialized power supply controller which suppresses the generation of excess ozone, preventing unwanted oxidation.
Vinyl records have a surface static electricity charge created by friction. Two common sources of that friction is stylus drag as well as simply removing records from their jacket and sleeve. The ION-001 effectively neutralizes and removes static electricity and our unique "fan less" design allows for silent operation.
Simply position the ION-001 next to your turntable and switch on when playing an LP.

Duke Ellington/Johnny Hodges – Back to Back – Analogue Productions 2x45RPM 200g LP
Several times in his career star alto-saxophone soloist Johnny Hodges struck out on his own, only to return each time to Duke Ellington's band. There seemed to be a constant tension between them, though it was old hat by the time of this recording. In the enclosed notes, critic Michael Ullman examines this complex relationship, suggesting that the blues classics chosen for this program may have been neutral ground. A place where Ellington's unique piano playing could come to the fore and Hodges' irrepressible sensuality could have free rein. This is one of the very best small-group records Ellington ever made — a relaxed, perfectly integrated set of music that truly swings the blues.
