Puritan Audio Laboratories Ultimate Mains Cables
This cable takes our correctly placed obsession with vibration distortion, as collected by, and ruthlessly transmitted to the very heart of every system component by mains cords, to its ultimate conclusion.
Puritan Audio Laboratories UltimateĀ cable is so limp and floppy that it simply cannot carry vibrations. And yet it contains massive 41 Amp, ultra high purity, grain optimised copper conductors, enclosed in a super softĀ custom formulated silicone dielectric to which three uniquely developed nanotechnology membranes have beenĀ sequentially applied to form a complex shielding and neutralising barrier to the power lines, whilst a polycrystalline metals barrier along the entire length of the earth conductor neutralises ground line interferences. All of which technology is contained within a complex arrangement of anti-vibration pick up and dampening layers.
The Ultimate is an absolute sonic triumph which totally redefines the contribution that power cables can make to ultimate fidelity.

Puritan Audio PSM156 SKF Mains Power Conditioner
This model has been factory fitted with furutech NCF schuko sockets (cryo treated and demagnetized as standard) and matching NCF 16A mains input socket.
Schuko plugs have no fuse inside and can be used in the UK no problems. If you wish to discuss this please get in touch with us.
MCRU can supply matching mains power leads with schuko plugs attached on request or re-terminate your existing power leads if required.
The PSM156 builds upon the brilliance of the legendary PSM136 retaining the precision symmetrically balanced circuitry and 6 fully independent outputs. Increasing the number of independently tuned filter elements from 39 to 52 enables your system to deliver even greater delicacy and detail whilst enhancing dynamics and punch.
The PSM156 will lift your system into a new dimension. Definition takes an enormous stride forward, individual instruments gain air between them with their sound and timbre becoming believable, the sound-stage will move out of your speakers and into the room with gains in three dimensionality with clarity definition and space between the instruments for them to interrelate rather than muddle each other. Your listening will become a far more engaging and pleasurable experience.

Ray Charles – Genius + Soul = Jazz 180g Analogue Productions Vinyl
"Genius + Soul = Jazz is a winner, now sounding better than ever. I like this reissue so much I'll probably not play my original again since it isn't in quite as nice condition. In fact, I'm not sure if I really need to even keep my original in the collection at this point given the quality of this reissue. And that is probably the best complement I can offer." ā Mark Smotroff, Audiophile Review, May 17, 2021.
