MCRU DIY Mains Extension Block Kit

For our DIY customers after numerous requests we have put together a DIY mains extension block kit comprising of a 6 way mains block with the light dis-abled to improve sound quality and the internal rails treated with caig de-oxit contact cleaner to remove contaminants off the metal surface and leave a microscopic film to prevent further contamination, proven to improve performance.

The best selling mains power cable worldwide has to be belden 19364, over 20 years old and still going strong, 2.05mm conductors with foil shielding and drain wire which is connected to the earth pin on the mains plug and trimmed off at the mains block end to create a faraday cage to trap mains noise and keep it away from your equipment.

A uk mains plug fitted with a silver plated 13 amp bussmann fuse and all internal pins/contacts again treated with de-oxit.

The kit is a DIY item so you will need to wire the plug and mains block together yourself, if in doubt always consult a professional.
