The CS947 is Tacima’s award-winning mains conditioner which smooths the mains supply and mitigates RFI from other household electronics, improving the clarity and detail in your prized setup. As well as a 3-channel surge protection to absorb mains surges/spikes, this product comes with a test button for its Mains Conditioner filter for added peace of mind.

This is a new improved version of our previous Design which over the years received Five Stars and several Awards from WHAT HI FI the UKs best known HI FI magazine. The Tacima CS947 6-way mains conditioner smooths the mains supply and eliminates mains interference and filters out any RFI (radio frequency interference) creeping in from other electronics such as washing machines, wifi routers, mobile phones and microwaves. This allows your electronics to perform at their best with noticeable improvements in detail and clarity and reduce poor quality, noisy mains power can easily spoil the performance of your hifi and home cinema systems.
Surge Protection
Three Channel protection – absorbing mains surges and spikes which can cause permanent damage to your valuable equipment.
Gas Tube Protection
Gas Discharge tube technology is used to satisfy the latest safety requirements for Surge Protectors.
Thermal Protection
Internal Thermal Fusing prevents the circuit from dangerous overheating in the event of a worse case Surge/Spike scenario.
Screened Mains Lead
Prevents the mains lead from acting as an Ariel and so injecting interference into your system.
Filter Status Test
Mains Conditioners do not have any indicating lights on during normal use as this can effect the performance so we have introduced a test button for your piece of mind. Pressing the button briefly should illuminate a Green Status Light, indicating the Mains Conditioner filter is operational, has not been damaged or seriously degraded and all layers of protection are intact. On releasing the test button the green light will go off and the Mains Conditioner will be fully operational and function as normal.
Technical Information
Their filters are specifically designed to combat both “Asymmetrical” as well as “Symmetrical” interference, both being effectively suppressed by the introduction of High Frequency Capacitors and a single Choke In addition we have also incorporated an Earth Line Choke to stop interference through the mains earth line, finally we use an Screened Mains Cable to eliminate the effects of radiated noise interference.
