Its only a fuse right? The new BLACK fuse is now available from MCRU. We could write a lot of hyperbole to promote the product, instead we just simply advise you to fit these and rest assured you have acquired the BEST.
The fuses are 20mm diameter to fit inside your equipment, please see notes below.
At MCRU we receive 100’s of enquiries for 20mm fuses, we cannot stock the entire range.
If you have decided to purchase a 20mm fuse you must first replace like for like, so for instance IF 3.15A slow blow is fitted to your equipment, replace it with the same rating SR fuse.
An order will be placed with Synergistic Research every month for the fuses our customers have requested so if you place an order today and we do not have the correct size/rating it will be between 1 and 30 days before your fuse arrives.
That is a fair way to save us having to spend £10,000+ on fuses stocks that many customers won’t ever use.

Amazing ! Changing your internal fuses for these SR Black ones is nothing short of a revelation.Fuses at the IEC inlet are easy to change. A magnifying glass and tweezers are useful if you are changing fuses on the circuit board, it can be daunting if you have not tried it before but you won’t be disappointed with the improvement in sound quality. Make sure you get the correct rating and type.
