The Genesis is our original RCA plug design, with the addition of our new collet-chuck clamping device. This newly improved collet-chuck structure, which is placed on the lower middle of the sleeve, actualises secure holding to the connection part due to its independence from the outer sleeve. In addition, because of the coating of high-viscosity grease on the screw part, you will never have felt smooth rotation like this before. This not only gives pleasure to the touch, but also improves vibration damping between the inner body and the outer sleeve.
The surface of its brass sleeve is treated by hard chromate-plating, like in high-quality cameras. In addition, we employed a phosphor bronze contact pin. And we applied our new combination of platinum and rhodium-plating for this highly-original RCA plug. This combination sets a new standard of sound for the audiophile. Furthermore, all fine parts are shaped by a highly accurate CNC routing machine.
The improved Genesis brings the higher standard of architectural quality to the existing design of the RCA connectors.
The collet-chuck clamping function:
The collet-chuck clamping function is employed for Genesis. An existing collet-chuck designed RCA plug is tightened by rotating its whole sleeve, but Genesis is tightened through its independent rocking sleeve. Here, we succeeded to minimise the gap between its body and sleeve and attenuate resonance, which was a problem with the original collet-check structure.
Body:
High-viscosity grease is coated on the screw part of the rocking sleeve and body. Due to its high-viscosity, it actualises to prevent looseness and damp unnecessary vibrations. In addition, each screw thread of the rocking sleeve and end cap has a different pitch and opposite screw turn for tightness.
Usability:
Its collet-chuck rocking sleeve is placed on the lower middle of the sleeve. So it is easy to turn, even if it is in the situation where it seems to be hard to rotate.
