One of our most popular mains power cables, a must have for anyone who is sceptical about what a good mains lead can do for your hi-fi system or home cinema equipment. Made using audio grade parts and not to a price, for the money it is difficult to better the performance of this cable. We only use cable with 2.5mm OFC conductors, our cable is manufactured in Germany and is a quality wire using tinned copper braiding NOT steel braiding which has no application in hi-fi at all. 1 metre long as standard, longer lengths on request.
The cable is terminated with a silver plated fig.8 connector soldered to the cable using Furutech silver solder for the best possible connection to ensure faultess performance guaranteed. The plug end has our own sourced plug, chosen after many years of using other plugs and finalized on for its ease of use and faultless finish, the plug pins are heavy silver plated by a sub-contractor with 50+ years plating experience, masters of their art and the finest quality plating we have ever seen.

No.18 Fig 8 Cable
This mains lead was bought to try on my £150 Pioneer DVD player and Sky+ box. It alllowed for more vivid colours, better contrast, stronger image outlines and a lot less ‘blur’ on movement. With the Sky box the improvement was immense. I changed leads at half-time whilst watching the footie, and it was like they’d turned some more floodlights on. The result with the DVD was less obvious, but is still worth the investment.

“Mains Cable no. 18”
“I have a Micromega phono amp which has a built in PSU, I was interested to see if a better mains cable would improve its already excellent performance and as it has a figure 8 socket decided to try this cable. I am more than happy with the improvement this cable has made as the soundstage has opened up more, bass is tighter and voices are more defined.”

I initially purchased one of these for my Sky Q box, there appeared to be some benefits to picture clarity and definition but I soon convinced myself I was imagining it. So, I took the plunge and bought another two for my sound bar and subwoofer set up. TA DA, my Sky box is linked through the sound bar to the TV and the picture was clearly more vivid and cleaner, I also suprisingly found myself having to turn the volume down a little bit more than before.
