I have just bought 2 of these (one for my CD IEC input and one for my Amp) , having been very pleased indeed with the purchase of 2 Furutech NCF Clearline AC optimisers. I could hear some initial initial improvements with the braces but nothing like the impact of the AC Optimisers. After a lot of experimentation I found the found the placing of the braces in the recommended position is not optimum in my system due to an adverse effect on high frequencies. I now have them off the IEC plugs on the mains cable leading into the IEC plugs. The final result is beneficial but I cannot give them a very strong vote of support. It might be the fact my amp and CD player are fairly close together on a shelf. These are very powerful devices and I think need careful placement and some experimentation. Placing anything on component mains and signal cables can be a mixed bag as in the fashion for ferrite rings/clamps a few years back.
