Furutech are a manufacturer of ultra-refined analog, digital and video cables. They also specialise in creating high performance audio accessories and power cables.
Loudspeaker cable connectors come in many configurations, and Furutech manufacture one to suit every budget and every application. The FP-202 non-magnetic locking banana plugs are manufactured from PCOCC (pure copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) and 24k gold-plated. No soldering is necessary, as there are two set screws that clamp onto the cable.
It is a scientific fact that gold-plating improves conductivity; and adding Furutech’s FP-202 gold-plated banana plugs to your interconnects will bring sonic benefits to your system because of this.

A load of bananas !!
These plugs are a lesson in good design. Although expensive they do a great job. Go easily into speaker binding posts then tighten up firmly using the knurled end insert. Cable is well secured using 2 screws and the supplied allen key. Have the added advantage of taking another banana plug into the open end should you want to ‘piggy back’ plugs. I’ll only be buying unterminated speaker cable from now on and swapping the plugs.
