NCF damping ring
Furutech NCF is a special crystalline material with two “active” properties. Firstly, it generates negative ions to eliminate static electricity. Secondly, it converts thermal energy into far-infrared light. This material is combined with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder for additional damping properties. This makes Nano Crystal² Formula the ultimate electrical and mechanical damping material, exclusive to the Furutech brand.
Alpha α Process
Furutech has also developed a two-stage, ultra-low-temperature contact treatment process that significantly improves conductor performance. This Alpha process begins with a deep cryogenization stage for all metal parts. Furutech uses high-end refrigerants (liquid N2 or He) to achieve temperatures between -196°C and -250°C. This process gives the conductors a more stable structure, favoring improved electrical conductivity.
The second stage of this Alpha α process exposes these same parts to a patented demagnetization treatment. This uses controlled attenuation to completely eliminate the magnetization, once again improving conductivity.
