This is a special product that covers the outside of cables and can be used for mains leads, interconnects or speaker cables.
It is a polyester braided sleeving which is impregnated with small particles of carbon which causes an effective barrier against radio frequency interferance (RFI) which can degrade the sound quality of your hi-fi and home cinema system considerably.
This is the 10mm size so will expand up to 150% and accept 15mm outside diameter cables, other sizes are available.
