Designed in the New York borough from which it takes its name, the Mytek Brooklyn DAC is recognised as one of the most innovative digital to analogue systems released in recent years.
This is Mytek’s newest and most highly anticipated DAC Headphone pre-amplifier and the first stand-alone DAC to incorporate the MQA streaming decoder. A sophisticated audio path has been crafted to create a bit perfect, high quality, transparent sound to your speaker and headphone units that has a wide range of capabilities.
The Mytek Brooklyn DAC will play:
- PCM up to 32 bit / 384 kHz. DSD64, DSD128, DSD256
- MQA master quality files off online streaming services
- Vinyl records utilising its precision M/C, M/M phono preamplifier
- Any other digital source equipped with Toslink, SPDIF, AES or DSD SDIF out
- Any other analogue source plugged into analogue input
In terms of assisted software, the Brooklyn DAC has been optimised for the highest levels of performance in conjunction with Windows, Mac OS and Linux systems. Centred on the recently developed Mytek Hi-Speed USB (USB2) Audio Class 2 32bit/384kHz Integer Interface, the Brooklyn DAC provides minimal delay and an unprecedented level of reliability.
In addition, fast Windows drivers including ASIO and WASAPI are provided, whilst Mac OSX and Linux computers and audio streaming devices do not require a driver to be installed.
