The Mytek Brooklyn DAC can be powered by a standard power lead (kettle lead type) or via a 12V DC input (thus bypassing the internal switch mode power supply). The MCRU fully regulated design has proven to be an instant sound quality improvement according to customer feedback.

Just wanted to say how pleased I am with the MCRU linear power supply for my Brooklyn Bridge. I’m kind of astonished just what a difference it has made acoustically. I was very skeptical and so glad I bought one. I highly recommend this extremely high quality product.

On my brooklyn dac + I was using a nordost shiva main cable that gave me a step up from the standard main cable.
When I pass to mcru I note bass a little more defined and extended. On high frequencies I note a more precision.
In general I’m getting a sound more detailed and defined than with the shiva.
I’m very happy of the step up on sound I get with this linear power supply.
