Music
Few albums have endured with the emotional force and reverence of Grace. Released in 1994, it introduced Jeff Buckley as a once-in-a-generation talent—possessing extraordinary vocal range, expressive control and an instinctive sense of musical drama. This 5 EP vinyl LP box set offers a unique way to experience the album, presenting the material across multiple records to maximise fidelity, flow and nuance.
By spreading the music over five EPs, each side benefits from wider groove spacing and reduced inner-groove distortion. The result is a more revealing, composed sound: Buckley’s vocals feel startlingly present, shifting effortlessly from whisper to full-throated release, while guitars retain texture and bite without congestion. Subtle studio details—room ambience, reverb tails and dynamic shading—emerge naturally on analogue.
Tracks such as Mojo Pin, Grace and Lover, You Should’ve Come Over gain added dimensionality and emotional weight, their dramatic arcs unfolding with greater control and focus. The EP format encourages attentive listening, inviting the listener to engage with the album in chapters rather than as a single uninterrupted block.
Housed as a premium box set, this edition reflects the care and reverence afforded to Grace over time. It is not simply a repackaging, but a considered presentation designed to extract the maximum musical and emotional impact from one of the most beloved albums of the modern era. For audiophiles, collectors and devoted fans, this 5 EP vinyl set offers a deeply immersive and rewarding way to reconnect with Jeff Buckley’s masterpiece.
