“I bought this plug mainly to see what you got if you spend over 50 quid on a UK plug. What you get is a substantial, quality item of very solid construction with very positive screw terminals making it easy to fit thicker cable. On the down side it is quite bulky and is prone to being displaced from fully engaging in the AC socket, especially with thicker cables. The fuse holder is inaccessible once wired up but this shouldn’t be a problem unless you are in the habit of blowing or changing fuses. I can’t say it sounds any better than a well-fitted, good quality plug but maybe that’s just my 68 year-old ears.”
