The MKII version consists of an internal metal plate for speaker spikes to sit in, the performance has not been compromised and you will still hear the substantial sonic improvements that Black Ravioli provides. The pads can be used under any piece of equipment the same as the original design, in addition you can now sit your loudspeakers on the pads as well as equipment supports and some racks (heavier equipment racks may require the larger pads).
