Compared to the Empire Plus, which leans more toward resolution and detail retrieval, the Astoria Plus feels more immediate and dynamic, making it particularly well suited to systems that benefit from added drive and impact.

Design & Construction

At the core is Furutech’s (Alpha) PC-Triple C conductor, produced using a proprietary forging process that aligns the copper structure for improved signal transmission. The aim is simple enough, reduce resistance, minimise distortion, and let current flow as cleanly as possible.

The cable is finished with high-quality gold-plated connectors, comprehensive shielding, and Furutech’s Floating Field Damper system to further suppress noise and grounding issues.

A flexible, RoHS-compliant PVC outer jacket provides durability while also helping to control unwanted resonance.
