MCRU XLCR Fully Regulated 5 Amp Linear Power Supply

A new design linear power supply developed with Longdog Audio capable of delivering 5 amps at 12V DC, perfect for powering music servers and NAS drives that use wall wart type power bricks (otherwise known as switch mode power supplies).

It is well known that a SMPS injects interference into your hifi system, fitting a fully regulated linear design removes mains noise and provides the purest voltage possible, resulting in improved sound quality.

The XLCR can power music servers and NAS drives as well as laptops such as the macbook pro or mac mini, and delivers up to 5 amps at 12V which is what most servers require. The unit can be configured to your exact requirements on request.

The power supply is equipped with a standard mains power cable to suit your country, a detachable DC cable to power your chosen equipment. Simply attach the mains lead and dc cable, switch on and enjoy. Available DC connectors are 2.1mm and 2.5mm as standard, many others available.

We also have a 12 amp version available should your equipment require more wattage.
